Infectious diseases

• BVD – We work with our clients to investigate any outbreaks to identify the source, and we have several BCVA BVD advisors, who can offer advice on the detection and control of BVD within your herd.
• Johne’s – All of our vets hold the BATJA qualification, and we produce individual Johne’s control plans for our clients using data and clinical knowledge.
• TB – All of our farm vets can perform TB advisory service visits, where we look at several areas on an individual farm and formulate a plan to reduce the risk of TB.

Our vets are involved in TBAS (TB Advisory Service) and Animal Health and Welfare Pathway, and can offer government funded visits to help you combat the risk of TB infection in your area.
